Bandas Steampunk.

Não existe um estilo musical denominado ‘Steampunk’. O que existe na verdade são um bando seleto de artistas com o mesmo gosto, tocando e cantando aquilo que o movimento no qual eles fazem parte diz. No entanto várias bandas e músicos se encaixam no gênero da ficção cientifica que tanto conhecemos, seja em suas letras ou no seu jeito de se vestir. Uma banda que tem um espirito Steampunk em tudo que eles fazem é o Abney Park, que por sua vez é uma das bandas mais conhecidas dentro do cenário Steam. Eles misturam muito do folk com música eletrônica. Um misto de passado com futuro, além das vestes e até dos instrumentos customizados. Temos o duo norte americano The Dresden Dolls que com sua mistura de Punk com Cabaré, faz um som único e que gruda na cabeça. Outra banda bastante conceituada e conhecida nos grupos steampunks é o Vernian Pocess, eles misturam diversos estilos entre eles Post-Punk, o Cabaret e até o Industrial. Entre essas podemos dá também atenção a cantora, violinista e escritora Emilie Autumn, conhecida por seu estilo de performance teatral e maestria na mixagem de música clássica e industrial. Um mundo amplo de artistas que fazem do retrofuturismo o seu jeito de cantar e encantar.
